Situated just over the Scottish border, in the village of Rigg, 1.5 miles from Gretna and Gretna Green - this former church has been tastefully renovated and is furnished to a high standard.

These luxury self-catering apartments are set back in their own courtyard.  Accommodation is stylish yet surprisingly affordable. Original furnishings are handcrafted by a local blacksmith and the pictures that decorate the walls are by local artists.  Extend your enjoyment of Church Square Apartments in the garden which has a decking area and a paved, covered area for alfresco evenings.

Directions to Church Square, Rigg by Gretna Green:

Leaving the A74 (M) at the new shopping complex (Gretna Gateway) - at the roundabout take the road signposted to Annan. Follow this road for approximately 1.5 miles until you reach the village of Rigg.

Church Square is on the right, set back from the road in a private courtyard with wrought iron gates at the entrance.

Accommodation

Four Luxury Self-Catering Apartments by Gretna Green

  • A double bedroom with a Victorian wrought iron bed, TV and views onto open farmland. (Apartment No. 5 has a four poster bed).
  • A fully fitted kitchen and dining area.
  • A tastefully decorated and comfortable lounge with TV / video and digital box and views to Skiddaw and the mountains of the Lake District.
  • A bathroom with white suite, bath and shower (No. 4 & No. 6). Apartment No. 5 has a cast iron Victorian bath tub.
  • The four person apartments (No. 4 & No. 6) also contain a second bedroom with twin beds and views onto open farmland.
  • Apartment No.4 also has a dining area that leads onto a seated patio with barbeque.

 The four apartments cater for the following:

  • Apartment No. 3 = 2 persons (ground floor)
  • Apartment No. 4 = 4 persons (ground floor)
  • Apartment No. 5 = 2 persons (first floor)
  • Apartment No. 6 = 4 persons (first floor)

We do hope to make your stay as comfortable as possible. All apartments come fully equipped with hairdryers, ironing facilities etc. If you have any special requirements we will do our best to help.

Prices are for accommodation and not per person

  • Enjoy a 2 night stay
    in a one bedroom apartment from as little as £120.00.
  • Enjoy a 2 night stay
    in a two bedroom apartment from as little as £150.00.

    All bed linen, towels, electricity and heating are included in price which is for the accommodation not per person. Please Note:

    The Accommodation is available from 2.30pm on the day of arrival.

    Departure is by 10.30am unless by prior arrangement (a £20.00 charge is made for this facility).
