The Willows is a one bedroom luxury apartment ideal for couples wanting more than a hotel room or a family looking for space and amenities keeping the kids happy.

A warm welcome awaits you at our spacious and beautifully appointed family apartment which includes a breakfast starter pack and self catering facilities. Our modern three roomed non-smoking apartment has been recently decorated throughout to a high standard and includes FCH & DG.

The apartment was designed with mobility issues and wheel chair access requirements in mind and there is significant flexability regarding the positioning or removal of furniture which can be agreed at the time of booking to meet individual needs. Since opening our doors in May 2004 Visit Scotland have graded us 3 star and category 2 "Assisted Wheelchair Access" status.

The Willows offers you a friendly atmosphere where you can relax in the apartment or the enclosed gardens. The breakfast pack, self catering and entertainment facilities enable you to set your own timetable throughout the day. All within a few minutes walk from the Gretna Registry Office and just off the M74 / A75 junction.

Garden & pond
The garden to the rear has a raised 6 x 4m (20 x 13ft) pond with assorted koi carp, patio and a lawned area which is also home to Chico, Alfie and Rambo (the cat who thinks he's a dog) also live at The Willows therefore pets are by arrangement only. The spacious garden is enclosed and set on one level with ramped access to the apartment through doorways designed to accommodate wheelchair access.

Private Lounge/Kitchenette
With its own entrance the apartment comprises of a lounge with kitchenette, ensuite bathroom and a large double / family bedroom. The lounge offers a 24" pro-logic tv with selected satellite TV chanels & DVD player and a radio/cd. There are coloring books, crayons, DVDs and toys available for children and a playstation for the big kids.
The kitchenette consists of a full size fridge, combination microwave, kettle, toaster, crockery and cooking utensils. In addition to the self catering facilities the starter breakfast pack comprises of cereal, milk, bread, butter, marmalade/jams, fresh orange, tea and coffee.

Bedroom
This spacious bedroom sleeps up to four adults and has considerable storage, one double and two single beds plus a travel cot is available if needed. A hairdryer, iron, ironing board, linen and towels are also provided.

Bathroom
At 2.5 x 2m (6 x 8ft) the large modern en-suite bathroom is delicately laid out for a quick shower or a long hot soak in the bath.

How to find us.
We are located on the southern outskirts of the village of Gretna within walking distance of the Solway Firth, local shops, bus routes, a 9 hole golf course and of course the Gretna Registry Office.
Traveling eastwards on Loanwath Road, pass Gretna Football Club, which is on the corner of Dominion and Loanwath Road and we are the third property on the right.
You can recognise the bungalow with its the long fence down the side and conifers at the front.

Price List
The tariff is £60 for a couple or £75 for a family per night and a non-refundable deposit of £30 per night guarantees the booking. The apartment will be available from 2.30pm on the day of arrival until 10.30am on the day of depature. Availability earlier or later can be agreed by arrangement during booking.
